Brand New correct 6.5 Diesel Starter, High Torque gear reduction, includes solenoid.

Fits 6.5 Diesel Engines 92 to present day including all C/K trucks, Suburbans, Tahoes and Yukons, Vans, G/P cab/chassis trucks including school buses using the 6.5. Will also fit 6.2's. Not correct for H1 Hummers. Use p/n ssd-7124 for H1 Hummers also sold on this website.

I strongly recommend replacing your starter bolts at the same time. They fatigue over time and can cause severe damage. Use only correct starter bolts with the "knurled" shaft. We have std GM bolts in this category as p/n ssd-4950, and also a HD version as p/n ssd-4955. ALSO make certain the starter rear brace ssd-2557 is used. If missing, they are available also in this category.
