This HO 120 Amp alternator replaces your stock 105 Amp alternator exactly with no modifications.

On 6.5's the alternator also operates your tachometer. When your alternator is not working correctly, neither will the tach.

NOTE: The alternator also sends a signal to the tach so you can read rpm. The signal is calibrated by the size of the pulley. If your pulley size is larger or smaller on the new alternator, then you must transfer over the pulley from the old one, to the new one so your tach reads correctly. There is no one size fits all pulley.
