Fits ALL wheelbase models, regular cab long bed-131", extended cab short bed-155", extended cab and crew cab long bed-168.5" wheel base. If in doubt of fitment, measure your wheelbase length. Do not be confused with some so-called 4" systems that are actually 3 or 3.5" up to the muffler that sell for less. Our system is a true 4" and made of American Steel!!! Our kit weighs 78#, compare to the competition's that weighs 40-50# and uses imported steel made from recycled Chinese soup cans.
Expect a great increase in horsepower and cooler operating temps over stock 2.75", (shown in photo for comparison) and over the competition's 3" and 3-1/2" systems. Also lower EGT's and higher boost pressures. As everyone knows, Diesels need to breathe, and this system will solve that restriction problem. This kit works even better with our Performance Induction Kit ssd-707 or 717.
This kit contains, a 3" downpipe (largest OD that will fit) and complete 4 inch MANDREL BENT exhaust system ALL "MADE IN USA". Includes a straight thru muffler 4" in and out. Muffler OD is 6". Includes all clamps and hangers, including detailed instructions and assembly diagram.
If your wheelbase is less then 168.5", the intermediate pipe will need to be shortended, per the instructions provided. Can be installed by anyone with basic mechanical skills such as weekend mechanics thru professional technicians.
For 92-93 C/K applications, hanger modifications may be necessary.
